Got Heart?

Colossians 3:12,13



So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

It is going to take some serious commitment to put on a heart of the following
attributes if I want to make God's short list on his search for His men:
COMPASSION, KINDNESS, HUMILITY, GENTLENESS, PAITNEC, and FORGIVENESS.
I need to put these on every moment, willingly and intentionally regardless of
the circumstances I may be in -- i.e., no excuses especially when Jesus Himself
had done just that for me.

A question to ponder: Do I have this willingness as my priority #1, or am I
too focused on the results of my ministry? The results come from God's grace.
What I need to do is to put on the right heart.
