Exposing My Dark Corners

Ephesian 5:13


But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

All these years walking with God, I somehow
was quite successful in keeping some of the dark corners in my
life away from the True Light. Or, perhaps it was the case that
I was gradually working my way into these darkest corners from
the outer layers of gray corners. But regardless, God is exposing
in my life an area that I did not let His Light to shine in and
transform it. It's an area of my standard of keeping a "perfect"
relationships with everyone I know or work with. Well, God wants
me to let His Light shine there and allow His Light to be the
new standard in my relationships.

The new standard is to be humble with a serving heart. The humble
attitude is the part that stood out as His Light shined this time.
I need to watch my external posture or persona because I tend to
come across as cold, or too proper/perfect.

I am so thankful for this revelation; and I am committed to work on
this by letting His Light shine in there more and more so I will
begin to shine His Light in all of my relationships.
