Caught By God's Eyes

2 Chronicles 16:9


"For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will surely have wars."

Throughout the earth, God is on a search for those completely dedicated to Him.
And as He locates these people, He desires to strongly support them.
This support, in those times, meant protection against the enemies especially
those who has stronger armies. But God will deliver those whose heart is
completely set on God.

This is a specially neat passage for me because I need to sharpen my
heart toward God more than my skills or weapons to fight against the
enemy's tricks and attacks. Lately I have felt that I am overpowered
by the pressures of the enemy around me and felt I needed to strengthen
myself to fight back. But God is reminding me to be caught by His eyes as
the one completely dedicated to Him; then He will supply the awesome
power and strength to me.
