Turning Point for Disciples

Matthew 28:16

But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.

*
the beginning word of this sentence, BUT, seems to highlight
the transformation of the disciples state of mind. previously, they
were hiding away in fear of getting caught by the Romans and perhaps
get killed like Jesus. their "dream" of being the cabinet members of
the new regime had shattered and went out of sight forever, it seems.

but now, the disciples were infused with a fresh dream and strength to
move on to the destination Jesus told them to go. they went without
furhter details or what to expect even though upon their arrival
they were greeted by Jesus and He allowed them to join in on His great
mission.
