Matthew 18:34,35
"And his lord, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he should repay all that was owed him.
"My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart."
this illustrates how devastating my life can be if i misunderstand the
true riches of God's forgiveness for me because it will direct my life to
pursue the path of torturing my own life of trying to reach an unattainable
goal -- setting myself for a sure failure.
a correct understanding of such an abundant grace will not only produce
a life filled with joy and grace, but it will also provide a platform for
a genuine forgiveness toward others from the core of my heart. and this
is the path of avoiding the continual torturing of my own life.
