Any Other Created Thing

Romans 8:38,39

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

*
This is quite an amazing list of properties that influences our lives; I mean
it pretty much covers all aspects of how my life is impacted. So, what I
gather from this passage is that there is nothing in my world that can
alter the love of God destined for me. And going further, there is nothing
in my world that can/should alter my love for God.

Having said this, however, my love for God gets tossed around quite frequently
by the bumps along the way of my life's journey -- these bumps gradually
takes me off course rather than making me want to turn away from God, but
they cause the same effect of falling away from God in the end.
And what's worse, I am actually the one
letting it happen because I have not latched on to this passage as the TRUTH.

In my observation, the any other created thing mentioned in v.39
applies to other people around me. But going forward, I will not let
anyone get in the way of my love toward God.
