Answer My Call Today

Psalm 20:9


Save, O LORD;


  May the King answer us in the day we call.

i seem to be calling on God out of my own desperation more often these days.
after examining my heart, i realize that my cries were not based on the hope
of His answering my call in His own timing. it seemed more like a last-straw
attempt unsure of the outcome. i need more of David's assurance displayed in
this Psalm.

Heavenly Father, today, on our Nation Day of Prayer
(http://www.nationaldayofprayer.org), i am joining in with
the cries of other believers within US for Your
Spirit to sweep through this Bay Area -> US -> World. i am also
crying out to you to answer my call today regarding my role within
NCBC.
