2 Samuel 8:11
King David also dedicated these to the LORD, with the silver and
gold that he had dedicated from all the nations which he had subdued:
* many times my perspective is that
my "achievements" are the results of my own efforts and
thus take full credit to myself, or my talents. David's natural response
of dedicating the outcome of his victories revealed in me the lack of
recognizing God's working in and through me.
i am challenged to work on my heart so i, too, will dedicate my own
victories to God naturally without having to remind myself about it
because it's been engrained in my heart.
