[S] 1 Samuel 28:8,12 --
8 Then Saul disguised himself by putting on other clothes, and went, he and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night; and he said, "Conjure up for me, please, and bring up for me whom I shall name to you."
12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice; and the woman spoke to Saul, saying, "Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul."
[O] If a fortune teller can see through the disguise we put on, why do we bother to disguise ourselves before God the creator of the universe? That's how stupid and illogical our minds can be thinking we can fool our God. This actually comes from the master deceiver, deceiving us to think this way.
[A] Fill my mind with God's word daily so that there won't be any room for such a lie in my mind. I should honor, praise and worship God no matter what the world around me tells me because He is the unchanging God who deserves me just as I am.
[P] Dear Father, I bring myself to You just as I am. Please make me more transparent so Your glory may shine through me, or to reflect off me. May I come to You sincerely and with pure motives at all times. In Jesus' name. Amen.
