God Grows All Living Things

[S] Leviticus 25:21-22 --
21then I will so order My blessing for you in the sixth year that it will bring forth the crop for three years.
22'When you are sowing the eighth year, you can still eat old things from the crop, eating the old until the ninth year when its crop comes in.

[O] Every seventh year is the year of sabbath where the land and the people rested, so on the sixth year, God brought forth the crop enough to last next three (6th, 7th, and 8th) years.  It is indeed God who has the full control of growing all living things on earth.  He can triple the growth for a season at his will.  Not only that He plans for our future so we will not lack anything as long as we abide in His will out of obedience.

[A] Trusting God in all of my material needs is very easy in theory but most difficult in practice.  When I've seen how each year's crop was enough to last until the following year's harvest how can I trust Him to provide for two additional years' worth of crop on the sixth year?  It's not easy.  Whenever I am struggling to understand how God can provide something beyond the natural phenomena I need to reflect on how God provided for His people during the sabbatical year.

[P] Dear Father, please increase my faith and trust in You so that when I'm up against situations where my kicks in to take control that I would surrender to You for Your provision which is out of this world.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
