Be Fit For the Kingdom of God

[S] Luke 9:62 --
62But Jesus said to him, "No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

[O] The kingdom of God is forward moving and it does not dwell on the past.  If you look at our body, it's also designed to move forward and my spiritual life also is designed to go forward.  Once I become the son of God, the past is history and I must pave the new paths and create newness in my own life.  Paving the path forward requires complete attention and energy such that I really won't have any time to look back as it will jeopardize my forward moving tasks.

[A] Keep my eyes on the Cross and hold my bearing straight through more passionate and constant prayer with God.

[P] Dear Father, I want to keep looking forward and not go zigzag in my spiritual walk with You.  I want to keep this by praying constantly with You by making my whole day a continued prayer with You in between all the activities.  Please let Your Spirit reign in my life.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
