Promised Treasured Possession

[S] Deuteronomy 27:18-19 --
¹⁸And the LORD has declared this day that you are his people, his treasured possession as he promised, and that you are to keep all his commands. ¹⁹ He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the LORD your God, as he promised.

[O] God says I'm His treasured possession as He promised!  This statement alone just made my day.  However there is one condition to this -- that I am to keep all His commands.  So, as long as I stick to His commands, I will remain as His treasured possession.  Futhermore, He will set me in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations.  How I desire to be above all nations and I don't have to be a worldly known, highly visible person as long as I follow His commands because how He will set me above all is really up to Him according to His timing.

[A] Be happy about how I am God's treasured possession when I read the Bible, and apply them into my life.  Being a Christian is not just a chore of doing all the right things but being content of knowing how God sees me.

[P] Dear God, allow me to be content, happy and joyful about how You see me trying to follow You every day.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
