[S] Colossians 4:6 --
Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
[O] How can my speech be seasoned with salt? Tasty? Just like how salt brings out the taste in food, sprinkled with grace my speech can bring out the taste when I talk to other people. Edifying others with what I say is a gift and according to this verse, I need to do that "always!"
[A] Think about a tasty juicy steak that is not marinated at all (no A-1 steak sauce either). Whenever I speak, don't let it be one of these untactful steak.
[P] Dear God, as the one who's experienced Your grace, may I sprinkle that same grace in all that I say to others? I want to start reminding myself before opening my mouth. Thank you for this word. In Jesus' name. Amen.
