Exodus 3:4
When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."
*
If you think about it, bush is not quite useful for fire although it may be used to start a fire going. It's just a temporary means to hold a fire if it holds it at all. So, why was Moses so interested in this burning bush?
I was actually drawn to verse 3 where Moses took note of this "marvelous sight" and turn aside because how many times have I wrote things off as "insignificant" in my own value system and just moved on while God might've been working there? In verse 4 as we see above, when Lord saw that Moses turned aside, He met him and began to unfold His plan for Moses.
* Prayer * Lord, I want to follow the footsteps of Moses where he was able to take note of where you're at work and decided to adjust his schedule to turn aside and explore further. I do not want to evaluate things around me by my own standards but want to see things through Spirit-led eyes so I may join where you're at work. In Jesus' name. Amen.
